Good News!

Ellen Datlow recently posted her full Honorable Mention list for Best Horror of the Year volume 4 . There are 608 stories on her list, and I'm thrilled that Like Origami in Water, which appeared in Daily Science Fiction, is one of them.

The list includes the amazing Laird Barron, Adam-Troy Castro, Gemma Files, Melanie Tem (Her story, Little Shit, from Ms. Datlow's Supernatural Noir is a must-read in my opinion.), Alethea Kontis, Sarah Langan, and so many other fantastic authors. I had stars in my eyes while reading all the names.

And if that isn't enough good news, I am pleased to announce that I am now represented by Linda Epstein of The Jennifer DeChiara Literary Agency. I've known Linda for quite some time; when I parted ways with my previous agent, she and Jennifer offered representation. I think the enthusiasm of an emerging agent coupled with the experience of a well-established agency with a stellar reputation is a win-win situation, and I'm feeling very confident about what the future holds.

And I'll close this post by directing your attention to Amazon's Samhain Horror page where you can pre-order books from my fellow Samhain authors and/or purchase those already released. Happy reading!
