I was imprinted with a love of reading at a young age by my father, thanks to weekly trips to the library. At the age of eleven, I saw the movie Alien and read Stephen King’s The Shining; after that, my attraction to all things dark and scary turned into true love.
Except for spiders. They make my skin crawl.
I am partial to the color orange, drink copious amounts of coffee, and refuse to spell the word grey with an A.
I live in Maryland with my husband, two former shelter cats, and two rescued pit bulls. I'm an Active member of both the Horror Writers Association and the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, an Assistant Editor of the Hugo Award-winning speculative fiction magazine, Electric Velocipede, a staff writer with BookLifeNow, and am represented by Linda Epstein of The Jennifer DeChiara Literary Agency.
My debut novel, Ink, will be published in December 2012 by Samhain Horror.
